Carl Albert came out on top against Deer Creek on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run third inning. The Titans put the hurt on the Antlers with a sharp 8-1 victory. The win continues a trend for the Titans in their matchups with the Antlers: they've now won three in a row.

Carl Albert let AJ Bennett and Alexis Miller run wild. Bennett went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI, while Miller went 1-for-4 with one home run and five RBI. That home run was Bennett's first of the season. Another player making a difference was Journi LaValley, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with three runs and one double.

They weren't the only ones working in the home run department: Carl Albert lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.
