Soccer Recap: Livermore Takes a Loss

On Thursday, the Livermore Cowboys didn't have quite enough to beat the Dublin Gaels and fell 2-1. While losing is never fun, the Cowboys can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 415th, while the Gaels are ranked 164th).

Livermore's goal came courtesy of Jenevieve Lundberg, which was the first she's scored this season.

Livermore's loss dropped their record down to 2-4-1. As for Dublin, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1.

Livermore will face off against Amador Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Livermore's last three games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Dublin, they will welcome California at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
