Baseball Recap: Castle Park's Losing Streak Snapped at Five Games

It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Castle Park ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-4 victory over the Southwest SD Raiders. That's the fourth time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 8-7 victory back in April.

Alex Ramirez was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two doubles, two RBI, and one run. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March.

The win snapped Castle Park's losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 11-15 record. As for Southwest SD, they dropped their record down to 12-14 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.
