Soccer Recap: Greenbrier Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Evans, Greenbrier was happy to have turned things around on Friday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Effingham County Rebels a 4-0 shutout. Anthony Behrend was a massive factor in the win as he booted in three goals all by himself.

Greenbrier's victory bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Effingham County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season.
