Midlothian had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Madison Trojans, sneaking past 56-53.

Midlothian got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jacob Almodovar out in front who went 6-for-14 en route to 16 points and five assists. Another player making a difference was Chris Hardaway, who posted 16 points.

Midlothian now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Madison, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.

Midlothian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 63-58 win against Waxahachie on the 6th. As for Madison, they will challenge Carter at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Trojans will be up against the Cowboys' rather soft defense (which has allowed 49.67 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
