A feisty cat fight will be fought as Taliaferro County JAGUARS face off against Washington-Wilkes Tigers at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Taliaferro County will be strutting in after a victory while Washington-Wilkes will be coming in after a loss.

Last Monday, Taliaferro County earned a 6-1 win over Woody Gap. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the JAGUARS.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 11 runs the game before, Washington-Wilkes was a bit more limited in their matchup on Tuesday. They took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Towns County. The contest marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Ben Price was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one home run. That home run marked the first that he launched this season.

Washington-Wilkes has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season. Taliaferro County now has a winning record of 6-5.
