Preview: Katella Knights vs. Garden Grove Argonauts
Katella and Garden Grove are an even 4-4 against one another since January of 2015, but not for long. The Katella Knights will head out on the road to challenge the Garden Grove Argonauts at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Katella will be strutting in after a victory while Garden Grove will be coming in after a defeat.
Katella posted their biggest win yet this season on Friday. They blew past Ocean View, posting a 65-33 victory on the road. The victory was just what Katella needed coming off of a 59-32 loss in their prior contest.
Meanwhile, Garden Grove's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their sixth straight loss. Their rough 61-37 loss to Segerstrom might stick with them for a while. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Garden Grove in their matchups with Segerstrom: they've now lost seven in a row.
Katella has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season. As for Garden Grove, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-13.
Katella beat Garden Grove 53-40 when the teams last played on January 9th. The rematch might be a little tougher for Katella since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
