Bowdon has gone 9-1 against Mt. Zion recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Bowdon Red Devils will head out on the road to challenge the Mt. Zion Eagles at 5:30 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Mt. Zion will be up against a hot Bowdon team: the squad just extended their winning streak to four. Bowdon was the clear victors by a 19-4 margin over Ranburne on Friday.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Mt. Zion, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Douglas County with a sharp 17-7 win on Wednesday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Eagles needed considering they were shut out in their previous match.

Bowdon pushed their record up to 10-6 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Mt. Zion, their win bumped their record up to 6-8.

Bowdon couldn't quite finish off Mt. Zion in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 and fell 7-5. Can Bowdon avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
