Football Recap: Jacob Odle and Dawson Deatherage Pace Triad Defense

Triad and Mascoutah pushed the score to 37-22 the last time they played Mascoutah, but on Friday defenses reigned supreme. The Knights fell 16-7 to the Indians. The matchup marked the Knights' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Triad didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. Jacob Odle and Dawson Deatherage each grabbed an interception.

With the defeat, Triad broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 3-3. As for Mascoutah, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-2.
