Football Game Preview: Ely vs. South Ridge

South Ridge will challenge Ely on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. South Ridge are coming into the contest hot, having won three in a row.

The struggle was real when South Ridge and Mountain Iron-Buhl clashed last week, but South Ridge ultimately edged out the opposition 23-20. Having pegged this as anyone's game, the MaxPreps state rankings were right on the nose.

Meanwhile, Ely didn't have too many spare points in their match with Lake of the Woods/Indus/Rainy River, but they still walked away with a 18-14 win. The success made it back-to-back wins for Ely.

Their wins bumped South Ridge to 3-0 and Ely to 2-1. We'll see which team can carry over their success and which team inevitably falls when South Ridge and Ely clash.
