Baseball Game Preview: Garfield G-Men vs. Southeast Pirates

The Garfield G-Men will challenge the Southeast Pirates at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Southeast took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Garfield, who comes in off a win.

Garfield had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt Bristol on Saturday. The G-Men were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Panthers. The G-Men haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Southeast didn't have quite enough to beat Rootstown on Friday and fell 5-4.

Southeast's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 16-5. As for Garfield, the victory got them back to even at 10-10.
