Even though Port Allegany has not done well against Otto-Eldred recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Port Allegany walked away with a 41-34 win over Otto-Eldred. 41 seems to be a good number for Port Allegany as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.
Among those leading the charge was Ella Moses, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 10 rebounds. The contest was her third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brynn Evens, who scored 7 points along with 8 rebounds and 3 steals.
Smethport's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Port Allegany, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Smethport might still be hurting after the 49-29 loss they got from Port Allegany when the teams last played back in February. Thankfully for Smethport, Evin Stauffer (who scored 13 points along with 6 rebounds and 5 assists) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
