Football Recap: Cherry Skates Past East Central with Ease

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Cherry). They blew past the East Central Eagles 60-8 on Friday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

The victory (which was Cherry's fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 46.5 points over those games. As for East Central, their loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-6.
