In what's become a running theme this season, the Davis Sr. Blue Devils gave their fans yet another huge win on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 60-39 margin over Lodi. The win was familiar territory for Davis Sr. who now have three in a row.
Davis Sr. had a senior duo take command as Jiana Trotman scored 13 points along with seven rebounds and four steals and Alia Cordone scored 15 points along with eight rebounds and five assists. Cordone has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. Tessa Schouten was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Davis Sr. is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 matches, which provided a massive bump to their 10-9 record this season. As for Lodi, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-9.
Davis Sr. won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Franklin at 6:30 p.m. on January 17th. Franklin is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games. As for Lodi, they will head out on the road to challenge Tokay at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Tokay will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 782nd, while Lodi is ranked 381st).
