Soccer Recap: Xavier Prep Comes Up Short

The Xavier Prep Saints lost 5-1 to the Rancho Cucamonga Cougars on Thursday. The Saints were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 4-1.

Their goal came courtesy of Courtney Brennan, who's now up to two this season.

Xavier Prep now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Rancho Cucamonga, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.

Xavier Prep didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 1-0 loss against Rancho Verde on the 7th. As for Rancho Cucamonga, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 4-3 defeat against Oak Hills on the 10th.
