Soccer Recap: Calabasas Comes Up Short

Calabasas was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They came up short against the Westlake Warriors, falling 4-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Westlake this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 two weeks ago.

Calabasas' loss dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Westlake, their win bumped their record up to 9-2-1.

Coming up, Calabasas will challenge Newbury Park at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Newbury Park's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Westlake, they will face off against Thousand Oaks at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
