Baseball Recap: Wheeler Comes Up Short

Wheeler was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 11-1 to the Marietta Blue Devils. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Blue Devils this season, with their most recent defeat being a 4-2 loss on Thursday.

Wheeler's defeat dropped their record down to 4-19. As for Marietta, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-14.

Looking ahead, Wheeler will take on Osborne at 1:00 p.m. on the 11th. As for Marietta, they will face off against Colquitt County at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.
