It was a good run, but Storm Lake unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Saturday. They came up short against the Sioux City North Stars, falling 7-1. The Tornadoes were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Stars earlier this season, when they won 4-0.

Storm Lake's defeat dropped their record down to 20-5. As for Sioux City North, the victory got them back to even at 8-8.
