Basketball Game Preview: Enochs Eagles vs. Pleasant Grove Eagles

Two dominant guards in Alivia Pierce and Kate Myers are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. Enochs will take on Pleasant Grove at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.

On Thursday, Enochs lost to Downey at home by a 53-34 margin.

Meanwhile, it may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Pleasant Grove ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They snuck past Cosumnes Oaks with a 69-64 victory. The Eagles' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Pleasant Grove's win came from a few key players that Enochs will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Sierra Giacomini, who shot 55% from beyond the arc en route to 20 points. What's more, she posted three boards, the most she's had since back in December of 2025. The team also got some help courtesy of Anniyah Banks, who dropped a double-double with 11 points and ten rebounds.

The win made it two in a row for Pleasant Grove and bumps their season record up to 11-17. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.0 points over those games. As for Enochs, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 16-9.
