Softball Recap: Rampart Takes a Loss

Rampart extended their losing streak to five on Saturday, dropping them down to 3-13. They lost 18-5 to the Grand Junction Central Warriors. The Rams were not able to make up for their defeat to the Warriors from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Rampart saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Emilie Sklenar, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double.

As for Grand Junction Central, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-10. The game marked their most dominant victory of the season.

On Grand Junction Central's side, they got a big performance out of Emma Grabau, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with two runs, one double, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Caitlin Raisch, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with three runs and one RBI.

Rampart has already played their next contest, a 17-0 loss against Pine Creek on the 29th. As for Grand Junction Central, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 10-8 defeat against Grand Junction on the 30th.
