Softball Recap: Lassiter Comes Up Short

Lassiter lost against North Paulding back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Trojans fell just short of the Wolfpack by a score of 5-4. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lassiter's loss dropped their record down to 17-10. As for North Paulding, the win was the 13th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 20-8.

Looking ahead, Lassiter will be playing in front of their home fans against Lee County at 12:00 p.m. on Monday. As for North Paulding, they will challenge Campbell at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Wolfpack's pitchers better be ready for this one: the Spartans have averaged an impressive 6.9 runs per game this season.
