Recap: Wasco Tigers vs. Delano Tigers

The Wasco Tigers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fifth straight loss. They fell just short of Delano by a score of 42-40. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss Wasco has suffered yet this season.

Wasco lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Gabi Milligan, who scored 14 points along with six rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Milligan has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Camila Almanza, who scored 12 points.

Wasco bumped their record down to 3-15 with that loss, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Delano, their win ended a 12-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 5-12.

Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Taft the next time they take the court. Wasco will host Taft at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Delano will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
