Preview: Temescal Canyon Titans vs. Grand Terrace Titans
The Temescal Canyon Titans will head out on the road to face off against the Grand Terrace Titans at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Grand Terrace took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Temescal Canyon, who comes in off a win.
Temescal Canyon had to kick off their season on the road on Thursday, but they showed no ill effects. They claimed a resounding 67-10 win over Rubidoux on the road.
Temescal Canyon's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Sarai Kamweru, who dropped a double-double on 27 points and 10 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Kolena Apana, who scored 20 points along with 4 steals.
Meanwhile, Grand Terrace unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Saturday. They had to suffer through a rough 56-23 loss at the hands of Eisenhower. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Grand Terrace in their matchups with Eisenhower: they've now lost three in a row.
Temescal Canyon's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Grand Terrace, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-1.
Everything came up roses for Temescal Canyon against Grand Terrace in their previous matchup back in December of 2017 as the team secured a 80-37 win. Will Temescal Canyon repeat their success, or does Grand Terrace have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
