Softball Recap: Iowa Valley's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Iowa Valley came tearing into Tuesday's match with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Springville Orioles with a sharp 13-7 victory. The Tigers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Orioles, too.

Iowa Valley pushed their record up to 10-11 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.7 runs over those games. As for Springville, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-15 record this season.
