Soccer Recap: South Comes Up Short

South managed to keep up with Mayfield until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Rebels lost 3-0 to the Wildcats. The defeat continues a trend for South in their meetings with Mayfield: they've now lost three in a row.

South now has a losing record of 6-7-1. As for Mayfield, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-3-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South will take on West Geauga at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mayfield, they will challenge Chardon at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
