Softball Recap: Jay Comes Up Short

Jay managed to slip by Pryor the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Bulldogs lost 12-2 to the Tigers on Saturday. The Bulldogs' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it six in a row.

Jay saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Josie Youngblood, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run.

Jay's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Pryor, they pushed their record up to 7-0 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

Coincidentally, Jay and Pryor will both be playing Wyandotte the next time they take the field. The Bulldogs will host the Bears at 11:45 a.m. on Saturday, while the Tigers will play them later in the day, at 1:30 p.m.
