Truckee had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the five-goal drubbing they dealt Debbie Smith CTE Academy on Wednesday. The Wolverines blew past the Mavericks 6-1. Considering Truckee have won eight matches by more than three goals this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory was the third in a row for Truckee, bringing their record up to 11-1. As for Debbie Smith CTE Academy, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-9-3.
