Baseball Game Preview: Interlake Saints vs. Bellevue Wolverines

The Interlake Saints are taking a road trip to take on the Bellevue Wolverines at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Interlake has struggled recently with four defeats in a row, while Bellevue will arrive with three straight wins.

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Interlake's offense. They lost 10-0 to Mercer Island on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Bellevue made easy work of Highline on Monday and carried off a 10-3 victory. The Wolverines might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by seven runs or more this season.

Bellevue's win bumped their record up to 9-4. As for Interlake, their loss dropped their record down to 3-9.

Interlake suffered a grim 11-1 defeat to Bellevue when the teams last played back in March of 2025. Can the Saints avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
