Softball Recap: Hampton Hornets vs. Stockbridge Tigers
Hampton barely beat Stockbridge the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Hornets put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 24-11 victory on Wednesday. Considering the Hornets' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.
Aaliyah Davis made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Davis was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of her six plate appearances with two runs and two RBI.
