Soccer Game Preview: Orange Cove vs. Woodlake

The Orange Cove Titans are taking a road trip to challenge the Woodlake Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Orange Cove's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Having struggled with three losses in a row, Orange Cove turned things around against Strathmore on Thursday. The two teams finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw. The result (or lack thereof) was the first time the Titans have been dealt a draw since back in January.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Woodlake took on Lindsay on Thursday. Woodlake fell just short of Lindsay by a score of 1-0. Considering the last time the Tigers couldn't score was back in November of 2024, the team can't take the result too hard.

Woodlake's defeat dropped their record down to 15-4-5. Orange Cove's draw makes their record 2-12-2 this season.

Orange Cove might still be hurting after the 4-0 loss they got from Woodlake in their previous matchup back in January of 2024. Can Orange Cove avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
