Poly had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They breezed past the Monroe Vikings to the tune of 41-10 on Monday. The Parrots not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since February 12, 2025 (when they won 76-10).

The win was their first at home, bumping their record up to 2-5. As for Monroe, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-7.

Poly and Monroe could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps California Rankings. The Parrots will challenge Verdugo Hills at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday with a big rank disadvantage (968 vs. 425). Meanwhile, Monroe (ranked 1186th) will meet Grant (ranked 368th) at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
