Baseball Recap: Claxton Comes Up Short

Claxton fell victim to Jenkins County and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 14-0 to the War Eagles, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Tigers have struggled against the War Eagles recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Claxton saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Colby Strickland, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Claxton's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Jenkins County, their win ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-10.
