Recap: Foshay Wolverines vs. Horace Mann UCLA Community Panthers
In what's become a running theme this season, the Foshay Wolverines gave their fans yet another huge victory on Wednesday. They breezed by Horace Mann UCLA Community on the road to the tune of 51-18. Foshay's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Leading Foshay to victory were Aunisha Clark and Kelis Jones. Clark scored 16 points, while Jones scored 21 points. That makes it 11 consecutive games in which Jones has scored at least a third of Foshay's points.
Foshay is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. As for Horace Mann UCLA Community, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-8.
Foshay will be playing at home against the Panthers at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Horace Mann UCLA Community comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 18 points in their last ten games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse. As for they, they will head out on the road to square off against Foshay at 3:30 p.m. Foshay's defense has only allowed 21.4 points per game this season, so the Panthers' offense will have their work cut out for them.
