Football Recap: Willmar Skates Past Mound-Westonka with Ease

There's no place like home for Willmar, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Mound-Westonka White Hawks 45-14. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Cardinals considering their 13-point performance the contest before.

The victory got Willmar back to even at 1-1. As for Mound-Westonka, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Willmar will venture away from home to face off against Marshall at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Mound-Westonka, they will host Providence Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
