Football Recap: Laguna Acoma Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Laguna Acoma was the 30-14 winner over Newcomb when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Hawks fell 16-7 to the Skyhawks on Friday. Hawks fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Skyhawks since Friday.

It was another big night for Landon Noble, who rushed for 215 yards and a pair of touchdowns for Newcomb. That's the most rushing yards Noble has posted since back in November of 2024.

Laguna Acoma now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Newcomb, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-6.
