Softball Recap: Pine Creek's Victory on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Pine Creek entered their tilt with Liberty on Monday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They never let the Lancers get on the board and left with a 12-0 victory. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by seven runs or more this season.

Layla Laramie was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with four RBI, one triple, and one run. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. Grace Kempf was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.

Pine Creek always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .520. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Liberty only posted an OBP of .077.

Pine Creek's win bumped their record up to 11-2. As for Liberty, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-7.

Coming up, Pine Creek will challenge Arapahoe at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Liberty, they will venture away from home to square off against Fountain-Fort Carson at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
