Soccer Recap: Social Circle Comes Up Short

If Social Circle was riding high fresh off their 5-0 takedown of Washington-Wilkes last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Social Circle fell just short of the Putnam County War Eagles by a score of 5-4 on Monday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Putnam County this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-2 on March 7th.

Social Circle's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Putnam County, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Social Circle will take on Lamar County at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Putnam County, they will face off against Alcovy at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
