Basketball Game Preview: Chester Volcanoes vs. Big Valley Cardinals

The Chester Volcanoes will take on the Big Valley Cardinals in a tournament on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Chester is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Biggs just ended the team's six-game winning streak dating back to last season on Tuesday. They took a hard 57-39 fall against the Wolverines. The loss was the Volcanoes' first of the season.

Meanwhile, Big Valley came up short against Surprise Valley on Tuesday and fell 38-29. The Cardinals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Having lost for the first time this season, Chester fell to 2-1. As for Big Valley, they now have a losing record at 1-2.

Chester strolled past Big Valley in their previous matchup back in February of 2023 by a score of 42-25. Will Chester repeat their success, or does Big Valley have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
