Meanwhile, Hephzibah came up short against Howard on Friday, falling 16-9.

Hephzibah is 3-1 when Dunn posts two or more runs, but 3-9 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Rodney Patterson, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4.

They weren't the only ones working in the hit department: Hephzibah kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 17 hits. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 3.5 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 matchups they've averaged 10.6.

Westside's defeat dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Hephzibah, their loss dropped their record down to 6-10.

Saturday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Westside has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .453. However, it's not like Hephzibah struggles in that department as they've averaged .476. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
