Pike County proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by 12) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Ola Mustangs 4-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Pirates have posted against the Mustangs since February 15, 2022.

The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.9 runs over those games. As for Ola, with the loss, they broke their 24-game winning streak and moved their record to 27-2.
