Summit Charter Collegiate Academy extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Evonie Mendoza. The Summit Charter Collegiate Academy Bears blew past the Mira Monte Lions, posting a 53-24 victory thanks in part to Mendoza, who posted 18 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Summit Charter Collegiate Academy's points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Caylie Martinez, who had eight points. Those eight points gave her a new career-high.

Summit Charter Collegiate Academy is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 24.0 points per game. As for Mira Monte, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.
