Basketball Game Preview: Rim of the World Fighting Scots vs. Redlands Terriers

After both having extra time off, the Rim of the World Fighting Scots and the Redlands Terriers will dust off their jerseys to take on one another at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Rim of the World has now lost seven straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since November 21.

Rim of the World is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against Arrowhead Christian on December 13th (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Rim of the World had to suffer through a 61-12 loss at the hands of Arrowhead Christian. The Fighting Scots were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 46-8.

Jordan Dever was Rim of the World's leading scorer, having posted six points.

Meanwhile, Redlands came into Friday's game having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They secured a 26-21 W over Jurupa Hills last Friday.

Rim of the World's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Redlands, their win bumped their record up to 2-6.

Rim of the World came out on top in a nail-biter against Redlands in their previous meeting back in November of 2023, sneaking past 49-46. Will Rim of the World repeat their success, or does Redlands have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
