Softball Recap: Crescent Comes Up Short

Crescent came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Enid Plainsmen, falling 10-2. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Tigers, who until this match were averaging 2.63 runs allowed.

Crescent's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Enid, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-2 record this season.

Crescent will face off against Oklahoma Bible at 1:00 p.m. on September 5. Enid has already played their next contest (against Non Varsity Opponent), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
