Plainfield South hasn't had much luck against Minooka recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Cougars will look to defend their home pitch against the Indians at 4:30 p.m. Plainfield South has given up an average of 4.3 goals per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Plainfield South fell victim to South Elgin and their airtight defense on Saturday. They lost 8-0 to the Storm. Meanwhile, after low-scoring totals in their previous three contest, Minooka brought some dynamite into their most recent match. They were the clear victors by a 5-2 margin over Lincoln-Way West on Monday. The result was nothing new for Minooka, who have now won nine matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

Minooka's victory bumped their record up to 14-1. As for Plainfield South, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-14.
