Basketball Recap: Bloomsburg Christian Falls to Great Commission in First Game of Season

Bloomsburg Christian had to start their season on the road on Thursday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They were outmatched by the Great Commission Bears and fell 58-26.

Great Commission's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ava Bordack, who shot 43% from the field to rack up 18 points in addition to six boards and five assists. Bordack is also on a roll when it comes to blocks, as she's now posted two or more in each of the last six games she's played. Alexa Hall was another key player, putting up 16 points along with six assists and four steals.

The victory made it two in a row for Great Commission and bumps their season record up to 10-11.

As of now, neither Bloomsburg Christian nor Great Commission have any future games scheduled.
