Volleyball Recap: Plano Starts off Right with Win over Pearce

Plano took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Pearce Mustangs. The Wildcats have beaten the Mustangs the last four times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Mustangs has come to flipping the script.

The win didn't come easy: Pearce scored at least 18 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-20, 25-20.

Plano found their leader in freshman Bella Osborn, who had 22 digs and two aces. Osborn is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 15 or more in each of the last four games she's played dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Plano will square off against Marcus at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pearce, they will take on Independence in a tournament on Friday.
