Baseball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Coon Rapids-Bayard

Coon Rapids-Bayard got themselves on the board against Ar-We-Va on Friday, but Ar-We-Va never followed suit. They blew past the Rockets 16-0. Considering the Crusaders have won 16 contests by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Coon Rapids-Bayard, bringing their record up to 20-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Ar-We-Va, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season.

Coon Rapids-Bayard will square off against West Lyon at 12:15 p.m. on Saturday. As for Ar-We-Va, they will venture away from home to face off against South Central Calhoun at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
