Granite Hills and Summit Charter Collegiate Academy faced off in a Battle of the Bears on Wednesday. The Granite Hills Grizzlies sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Summit Charter Collegiate Academy Bears. The result kept the Grizzlies happy, as they haven't lost a game since January 13th.

Angie Torres was the driving force of Granite Hills' attack as she scored both of Granite Hills' goals, bringing her season total up to three goals.

Granite Hills has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-9-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those five games. As for Summit Charter Collegiate Academy, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-13-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Granite Hills will take on Lindsay at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Lindsay will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Granite Hills surely won't give up without a fight. Summit Charter Collegiate Academy has already played their next contest (against Orosi), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
