Newman Catholic is 8-2 against North Butler since July of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Knights will head out to take on the Bearcats at 6:00 p.m. Newman Catholic's pitching crew has only allowed 0.9 runs per game this season, so North Butler's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Newman Catholic will head out to face North Butler after giving up their first home loss of the season on Tuesday. The Knights fell just short of Osage by a score of 2-1.

BCLUW typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday North Butler proved too difficult a challenge. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Comets a 4-0 shutout.

Newman Catholic's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 9-2. As for North Butler, the win got them back to even at 7-7.

Newman Catholic skirted past North Butler 1-0 in their previous meeting back in May. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Knights since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
