Soccer Recap: Savannah Christian Victorious

While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was the Savannah Christian Raiders who were credited with the victory on Thursday. Their winning goal came courtesy of Jake Hendrix.

Savannah Christian's win bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Toombs County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-4 record this season.

Savannah Christian will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Effingham County at 7:00 p.m. on the 25th. Effingham County's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Toombs County, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 4-0 victory against Claxton on the 14th.
